Clean-up is its own step, but it happens on the same visit as the proofing, while the crew is already there. Where it is accessible, we remove droppings, nesting material, damaged insulation, plastic vapor barrier, and heat duct insulation, then sanitize and deodorize the areas we cleaned. Damaged materials go back new and up to code, and we protect the inside of the home while we work.

At each visit we check the traps and re-inspect the sealing, looking for any new opening or fresh sign that rats or mice are still moving.
